Daily Reports-September 11, 2021

Resisting Arrest/Assault-Deputies were dispatched to Mayan Circle this afternoon, whereupon arrival a female subject reported she had been assaulted by her sister after a brief argument had ensued. Contact was then made with the subject later identified as thirty-eight year old Selina San Juan Luna. who was aggressive towards deputies. Ms. Luna led deputies to a brief struggle after they attempted to place her in hand restraints before eventually being placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Aggravated Assault-A complainant in the Herradura sector of Maverick County reported she had been involved in a verbal argument with her daughter in law regarding family issues when the daughter in law approached her with a knife in hand and threatened serious bodily injury. A formal report was filed. 

Wanted Person-A county unit responded to San Marcos Street this evening after City of Eagle Pass Police officers reported having detained a male subject with an active warrant. The warrant out of the Maverick County Sheriff's office on larceny charges for the subject identified as Angel Banda was confirmed and Mr. Banda was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
