Daily Reports-September 10, 2021

Deceased Person-While patrolling the Loma Bonita area shortly after 3 AM this morning, deputies observed an open door at a residence on the 500 block of Memo Robinson Road. Upon checking the status of the residence, an unresponsive male subject was found laying on a bed. EMT crews arrived at the location and determined the subject displayed no vital signs. Justice of the Peace Hernandez was summoned and declared the thirty-four year old male subject deceased. 

Public Intoxication-A count unit responded to Baltica Street in regards to a possibly unconscious male subject inside of a property shortly after 8:00 AM this morning. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with forty-seven year old Jose Tapia, who appeared disoriented, displayed bloodshot eyes, and had a slurred speech. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Fraud-A complainant reported her ex-boyfriend had gained access to her mobile payment app and sent himself money using her account. A formal report was filed.

Escape-A deputy patrolling Tabachin Street made contact with a male subject later identified as nineteen year old Omar Leyva, who was observed walking in disoriented state and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and narcotics. Mr. Leyva was taken into custody and was placed in the patrol unit, where he briefly escaped arrested before being apprehended moments later. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
