Possession of a Controlled Substance-A county unit responded to the international port of entry 1 this afternoon where agents at the port advised they had detained a male subject found in possession of three vials of steroids. The subject, twenty-five year old Jose Luis Garcia Rodriguez, was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Suicide Attempt-Deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of Agarita Drive shortly before 7:00 PM this evening in reference to a possible suicide attempt. Upon arrival, deputies observed a male subject sitting in the backseat of a Chevrolet Tahoe with what appeared to be shoelaces tied around his neck. The subject was  then safely removed from the vehicle and EMS crews were summoned to the location to transport him to the Fort Duncan Medical Center for further evaluation.
