Burglary of Vehicle-A unit responded to Sueno Circle this afternoon where a complainant reported unknown subject(s) had gained unlawful entry into her vehicle's trunk and took her purse and personal identification without her consent. A formal report was filed.
Burglary of Habitation-Deputies responded to Molina Loop after a resident reported unknown subject(s) entered her home and took several tools and jewelry without her consent. A formal report was filed.
Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant in Cenizo Heights reported unknown subject(s) had taken a set of car speakers and car title from her vehicle without consent. A formal report was filed.
Possession of a Controlled Substance-A traffic stop on a 2005 Chrysler van on FM 1021 this evening led to the arrest of a male subject who initially failed to provide identification or proof of insurance. A check of the subject, twenty-three year old Joey Lee Diaz, revealed he did not have a driver's license and was operating the vehicle without insurance. A check of the vehicle was then conducted, which led to the discovery of a green leafy substance which would test positive for synthetic marijuana. Mr. Diaz admitted ownership of the substance and was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
