Hit and Run-Deputies responded to Old Pioneer Road near Canal Street at approximately 1:06 this morning, whereupon arrival observed a Nissan Titan traveling eastbound on Old Pioneer Road had veered of the roadway and struck a fenceline and tree/brush area. Witnesses at the located reported the male drive had run off towards a wooded area. A search of the area turned up to no avail. The vehicle was impounded and this case is under investigation.
Disorderly Conduct/Public Intoxication-Deputies responded to a residence on Wildwood Drive this morning after an unknown male subject attempted to enter a home that was not his own. A search of the area then ensued when the suspect fled the scene on foot. A second call a short while later involved a male matching the description had jumped the fence to a home on Ruela Street and began throwing rocks at the homeowner. The subject, later identified as twenty-three year old Erick Javier De La Cruz, was apprehended on Wildwood Drive and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Building-A complainant told deputies unknown subject(s) had entered a building currently under construction and took several tools without consent. The estimated value of the tools was placed at approximately $2,000.00. A formal report was filed.
Theft-A complainant reported unknown subject(s) had taken a utility trailer from his property without his consent. A formal report was filed.
Burglary of Building-A complainant on the 100 block of Memo Robinson Road reported two known subjects entered his vehicle and work shop and took several tools without his consent. A formal report was filed.
