Burglary of Building-A complainant on the 300 bock of Zaragoza reported unknown subject(s) entered his property without consent and took several items. The complainant further stated he believed the subjects entered through the shed door. A formal report was filed.
Wanted Person-Thirty-four year old Carlos Martinez, Jr. was taken into custody at the Maverick County Adult Probation Office this morning after a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant out of Ector County was confirmed and Mr. Martinez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Theft-A resident on Buena Vista reported he noticed several items missing from his residence after he found a lock on his property fence line had been cut. A formal report was found.
Hit and Run/Driving while Intoxicated-Units responded to Rosita Valley Road at approximately 11 PM this evening after a 2017 Toyota Rav4 travelling southbound was struck by a Ford F-150 in the oncoming lane. The driver of the Ford fled the scene, however, a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description was later conducted. Twenty-four year old Trevin Troy Rodriguez was found in a highly intoxicated state and admitted to being involved in the accident. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
