Deceased Person-A county unit responded to the riverbanks of the Rio Grande near the 2nd international port of entry this afternoon after Border Patrol agents reported locating the body of a juvenile female subject. The body was retrieved from the river and Justice of the Peace Rios was summoned to pronounce the person deceased at 6:58 P. M.
Driving While Intoxicated-A traffic stop conducted on a 2018 Chevrolet led to the arrest of thirty-three year old Israel Chavez after he displayed several signs of intoxication. Chavez was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
