Maverick County Daily Reports-June 06, 2018

Public Intoxication-A traffic stop on a vehicle found speeding on Wagon Wheel Road this morning revealed the driver to be in a highly intoxicated state. Deputies arrested Hector Javier Hernandez on public intoxication charges and he was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Deceased Person-Units responded to Comanche Ranch, where a ranch manager reported employees had found an unresponsive male subject under a deer stand. EMS crews were summoned to the location and Justice of the Peace Madera declared the male subject deceased at approximately 12:08 PM.

Wanted Person-A unit was dispatched to the international port of entry #1 this morning after agents at the port detained a male subject whose background check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant out of Gillespie County for Humberto Castruita was confirmed and he was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
