Resisting Arrest-A deputy patrolling Wagon Wheel Road this morning observed a male subject walking along the roadway. Contact was made with Hector Valdez, who was found in a highly intoxicated state and began to resist officer commands. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to a motor vehicle accident on FM1021 this morning after the driver of a 2007 Mercury Milan reportedly lost control of her vehicle. Contact was made with the driver who was traveling eastbound on FM1021 when she fell asleep, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway before rolling over twice. EMS crews were summoned to the location, however, the female refused medical attention.
