Motor Vehicle Accident/Public Intoxication-Units responded to the intersection of Rosita Gardens and Rosita Valley Road this morning after a 2008 Pontiac G6 had struck a utility pole. Upon arrival at the scene, a male subject who appeared to be in an intoxicated state was found lying close to the vehicle. EMS crews were summoned to the scene and the subject was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
Wanted Person-Jesus Alexis Flores was taken into custody at the international port of entry #1 this afternoon after being detained by agents at the port when a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Flores was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon-Deputies patrolling Loma Bonita this afternoon made contact with a male subject found lying on the ground. The subject advised deputies his brother had struck him several times on his head, arms, legs, and stomach. EMS crews were summoned to the scene and the subject was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center before being airlifted to San Antonio, Texas for further treatment.
Motor Vehicle Accident/Hit and Run-A resident on the 1000 block of Baltica reported a black Chrysler had struck his trailer and left the scene. The vehicle was later found abandoned by a residence in the Loma Bonita area. It was towed to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for further investigation.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to a motor vehicle accident on Loop 481 this evening after the driver of a vehicle veered off the roadway while avoiding animals crossing the highway. Contact was made with the driver who stated he had lost control of the vehicle and struck a post, causing the vehicle to roll over. EMS crews at the scene would clear the male subject.
