Information Report-Deputies responded to a structural fire on Eidson Road early this morning, whereupon arrival, evacuated the residence of its occupants as well as any occupants of the residence nearby. Eagle Pass fire crews were also on location to help extinguish the fire. Damages to the front of the home were visible at the time of the report. This case is under investigation.
Wanted Person-Deputies responded to the international port of entry 2 this morning after agents at the port detained a male subject when a check revealed active warrants for his arrest. The warrants out of Austin and Dallas for Andres Perez, Jr. were confirmed and Mr. Perez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Jason Michael Byrd was placed under arrest at the international port of entry 2 this morning after being detained by CBP agents when he was found to be in possession of marijuana. Mr. Byrd was then taken into custody by deputies and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-David Martin III was taken into custody when a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest out of Maverick County. Mr. Martin was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Agents at the port of entry this afternoon detained a female subject whose background check revealed an active federal warrant. Alejandra Compian Mendez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center to await further processing.
