Aggravated Robbery-Deputies responded to the 800 block of Vanesa, where two complainants reported a male subject attempted to break the door and entered the home and began assaulting on of the complainants with a crowbar and a knife, demanding his wallet. The victim suffered lacerations to his facial and head area and a stab wound to his left forearm. EMS crews arrived at the scene and transported him to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for further treatment.
A background check on the subjects revealed an active warrant. Rogelio Marmolejo, Jr. was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. A search of the area for the aggressor was conducted but no subject was found. This case is under investigation.
Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz./Public Intoxication-Deputies on patrol made contact with Julian Heriberto Mondragon, who was found highly intoxicated next to his vehicle in the middle of the road. After a search of the vehicle, deputies found marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Mondragon was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle-A complainant on the 3000 block of Del Rio Blvd. reported she had left her Nissan on her neighbor's property and was no longer there when she stepped out.
Wanted Person-Indalecio Ramirez was placed under arrest at the international port of entry #2 this evening when a background check revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. Mr. Ramirez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Agents at the international port of entry #1 detained a male subject, later identified as Victor Mendez, after he was found in an intoxicated state. Mr. Mendez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. It was determined that Mr. Mendez was also an undocumented citizen.
