Public Intoxication-Deputies on patrol this morning made contact with a male subject found walking along Veteran's Blvd. Upon contact, the subject displayed bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, unstable balance, and a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his person. Emmanuel Robles Tames was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Hit and Run/DWI/Failure to Stop and Render Aid-Deputies responded to a hit and run accident on FM2030 this evening, whereupon arrival deputies observed a 2011 Chrysler 300 with damages to its rear. The driver stated he had been struck by a Ford Ranger which fled the area. A search of the area yielded the discovery of an abandoned 2000 Ford Ranger with extensive damages. Witnesses in the area told officers the driver was last seen hiding under a trailer, where he was later apprehended. Manuel Ignacio Rodriguez admitted to driving the vehicle and leaving the scene of the accident. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. Both occupants refused medical attention at the time of the report.
Public Intoxication-Deputies arrested Joel Rodriguez on public intoxication charges this evening after he was found in an intoxicated state. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
