Motor Vehicle Accident/Leaving the Scene of an Accident/Recovered Narcotics-Deputies responded to the intersection of Buena Vista and Las Brisas where upon arrival, observed a damaged stop sign from an apparent accident in which a vehicle had left the scene. Witnesses at the scene described the vehicle, which was later stopped by the 3200 block of Yucca Circle. The 2001 Suzuki was found with damages to the front end and its driver, Gerardo Lopez, was found with bloodshot eyes, a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person, and unstable balance. A sea1rch of the vehicle found a baggy with a green leafy substance that tested positive for marijuana. Mr. Lopez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Residence-A complainant on Mack Circle reported unknown subject(s) entered her residence and stole several items.
Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Deputies responded to the international Port of Entry #1, where Carlos Zarate was taken into custody after he was found to be in possession of marijuana. Zarete was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
