Burglary of Habitation-Deputies responded to the 3900 block of Lehmann Street early this morning after receiving a report of a possible burglary of habitation. At approximately 5:45 AM, deputies were en route to the location where upon arrival made contact with the complainant, who stated that unknown subject(s) had entered the residence without his consent and no items were taken at the time of the report. A part of glass containing what is believed to be blood was recovered and transported to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office where it was tagged and placed in the evidence locker for safe keeping.
Assault-A complainant at First Care Ambulance stated he was assaulted in the facial area at said location by a known male subject. The Criminal Investigations Division was contacted for further process.
Minor Motor Vehicle-A county unit was dispatched to the Dollar General located on FM1021 after the driver of a black pickup told deputies he did not see the vehicle he struck entering the parking lot because his vision was impaired by the sun. No injuries were reported at the scene.
