Maverick County Daily Reports-July 01, 2015

Hit and Run-Deputies responded to a residence in the Eagle Heights Subdivision after the driver of  a maroon Ford F-150 lost control of the vehicle and struck a chainlink fence of a property and damaged several parked vehicles. The complainant stated that aside from the fence, the F-150 damaged a blue Jeep Grand Cherokee, a tan Kia Spectra, and a red Dodge Ram Pickup all parked within his property. The driver of the F-150 fled the scene prior to deputies arrival and the F-150 was impounded. 

Burglary of Building-A male complainant on the 3000 block of FM1021(EL Indio Highway) advised deputies that unknown subject(s) entered his mechanic shop without his consent and took several tools and equipment.

Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle-A deputy was dispatched to the lobby of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office when a female advised that her sixteen year-old son had taken her pickup without her consent. The juvenile later crashed into three stationary vehicles by the Eagle Heights Subdivision.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies were dispatched to Ritchie Road, where upon arrival, the driver of the vehicle at fault told deputies he was backing up without safety and struck an incoming vehicle. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.

Theft-An individual arrived to advise deputies that their sister had taken several jewelry items from their bedroom approximately one week ago.

Hit and Run-A complainant advised officers that an unknown vehicle had struck her stationary vehicle at the Shell parking lot on US Highway 277 North and Hopedale Road.

Information Report-A male individual arrived at the the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to advise he had hired several men to work on apartment buildings that he is currently constructing. He stated that the hired men have yet to show up for work and that the tools he purchased for the workers have gone missing. The complainant requested frequent rounds by his property.

Assault-A complainant on the 2000 block of Boulder Ridge stated that a known female had entered her residence and began to strike her in the facial area, back, and both arms.  The female also big the complainant's middle finger, causing lacerations.

Dog Bite-Deputies made their way to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room after a female advised that she had been bitten on her leg by a loose dog. The bite caused lacerations to her thigh and shin area.

Information-A complainant on the 800 block of Cipres Drive advised deputies that his girlfriend entered his mother's residence without her consent. The male subject also stated that he did not want his girlfriend by the location.
