Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the
international Port of Entry #2 in reference to a wanted person. Deputy
was advised by CBP officers that the male subject was detained due to an
open warrant out of La Mesa, Texas. The warrant was confirmed and the
male was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for
processing.
Minor MVA-Deputies reported
to the parking lot of a Dollar General in reference to a minor motor
vehicle accident report. The vehicle in question has left the scene of
the accident but was later detained by the Tribal Police Department
inside of the Kickapoo tribe.
Located Runaway-Deputies
arrived at the international Port of Entry #1 after a located/missing
juvenile was traveling with her mother. The mother stated she had
received a call advising her that her runway daughter was in Piedras
Negras. The female juvenile was released to her mother and was removed
from the TCOC/NCIC system.
Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle-A pursuit ensued after a county unit attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 2012 Ford Mustang for a speeding infraction on El Indio Highway. The deputy lost visual of the Mustang as it entered Las Quintas Blvd and was later able to find the vehicle abandoned by Rafael Street. The Mustang was impounded.
Public Intoxication-Deputies en route to a call of a theft in progress at Gloria's Bar on El Indio Highway encountered three intoxicated males with slurred speech and unstable balance upon arrival to said location. The subjects, identified as Ramon Cantu, Jr., Alfredo Cantu, and Alfredo Cantu, Jr., were placed under arrest.
Reckless Driving-A deputy patrolling FM 1021 observed a 2001 Ford Mustang traveling at a high rate of speed (100 MPH in a 60 MPH Zone) . Deputy was able to conduct a traffic stop and made contact with the driver of the Mustang, identified as Alex Flores. Mr. Flores admitted to the officer that he was indeed traveling at over 100 MPH because he had gotten into a fight with his girlfriend. Mr. Flores was placed under arrest for reckless driving.
