Maverick County Sheriff's deputies, under the direction of Sheriff Tom Schmerber, assisted Homeland Security Investigations agents, U.S. Marshals, and State Police authorities in executing arrest and search warrants throughout the County early Sunday morning. The operation yielded several arrests on drug related charges. HSI is currently handling investigations on the cases.
