Deceased Person-Units responded to FM131 and Dunbarr Road after US Border Patrol agents at the location reported coming upon an unresponsive male subject inside of a hunting blind this morning. A justice of the Peace later declared the subject deceased and a local funeral home took over the body.
Deceased Person-A deputy was dispatched to the river vega by the international port of entry 1 this morning after US Border Patrol agents and Fire Department personnel reported an unresponsive female subject at the the location. A Justice of the Peace declared the Nicaraguan national deceased at approximately 8:51 A.M. A formal report was taken.
Informational Report(Structural Fire)-Deputies responded to Venessa Street shortly before 4:30 this afternoon where a residence was engulfed in flames. City of Eagle Pass Fire crews were at the scene to extinguish the fire and a Fire Marshal arrived at the location to take over the investigation.
Possession of a Controlled Substance-Deputies this evening arrested sixty-five year old Miguel Medina at the international port of entry 2 after agents at the port advised he had been found in possession of a controlled substance. Medina was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Deputies on Elia Santos Drive made contact with a male subject found laying on the ground near an apartment complex this evening. The subject, identified as thirty-six year old Gerardo Mendez, was found in a highly intoxicated state and was placed under arrest before being transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
