Wanted Person-A traffic stop on a Toyota Corolla on FM1021 early this morning led to the arrest of thirty year old Efren Lopez, whose background check revealed an open warrant. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Lopez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession of a Controlled Substance/Possession of Dangerous Drugs-A unit responded to the international port of entry 2 this evening after agents at the port reported a secondary inspection of a Ford Escape led to the discovery of narcotics in the vehicle. Upon further investigation, several baggies containing in a crystalized substance(methamphetamine) and several dangerous drug pills were located. Forty-three year old Maria Heredia Picon was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-A deputy was dispatched to the railroad tracks on Dr. Gates this evening where the driver of a 2016 GMC Sierra was found asleep at the wheel on the railroad tracks. Contact was made with the deriver, Dezerey Nichole Suke, who displayed bloodshot eyes, unbalanced movements, and a slurred speech. Ms. Suke admitted to having consumed alcohol prior to the incident. She was then taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
