Assault/Family Violence/Possession of a Controlled Substance-A unit responded to a residence on Coyunda Street this morning after a female complainant reported being assaulted when she was struck in the facial area with a closed fist by her daughter. Contact was made with the daughter identified as thirty-four year old Claudia Gallegos, who upon inspection, was found in possession of a small jar containing several Xanax pills. Ms. Gallegos was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. Her mother refused medical attention at the time of the report.
Assault/Family Violence-Units responded to a home on Encuentro Street this afternoon after a female subject reported she had been physically assaulted by her son. The complainant further stated she had been struck in the facial area after the subject, Rolando Javier Rodriguez, rushed towards her. Contact was made with Rodriguez, who was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
