Wanted Subject/Evading Arrest-A deputy responded to an apartment complex located on Bob Rodgers Drive this afternoon in regards to a wanted subject at the location. Upon arrival, contact was made with the subject in question, who immediately closed the door on deputies. The door was forced open and deputies were able to retrain the male subject, identified as thirty year old Rolando Lopez. He was then placed under arrest for an active warrant out of Maverick County on child support charges and an additional charge of evading arrest was included.
Possession of a Controlled Substance-A deputy patrolling Del Rio Blvd. this evening conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Dodge Charger after it was observed swerving in and out of its travel lane. Contact was made with the driver identified as thirty-two year old Armando Narciso Ramirez and consent to search the vehicle was given. The search eventually yielded the discovery of a clear plastic baggie containing crystal meth by the driver side floor board and Mr. Ramirez admitted to ownership of the substance. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
