Assault/Family Violence-A unit responded to a residence on Valerie Street shortly after 3:00 PM this afternoon after receiving reports of a disturbance at the location. Upon arrival, investigations would reveal a couple had been involved been involved in a physical altercation EMS crews were summoned to the scene to transport a female subject to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for further treatment. She was later booked into the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing after being medically released. The male subject was also taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Theft-A deputy made contact with a complainant via telephone this morning, who reported unknown subject(s) had taken a large amount of clothing from her residence without consent. A formal report was filed.
