Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-A deputy patrolling South Veterans Blvd. this morning conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Cadillac CTS after observing two traffic violations. Contact was made with the driver, nineteen year old Eduardo Hernandez, Jr., whose vehicle emitted a strong marijuana odor. Consent to search was given and a small baggy containing a green leafy substance was discovered. The substance would test positive for marijuana and Mr. Hernandez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Building-Units were dispatched to an abandoned residence on Vista Bonita shortly after 6 AM this morning in regards to a possible burglary in progress. One male subject fled the scene on foot upon deputies arrival and a second subject, twenty year old Jennifer Rodriguez was located during a sweep of the home. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
