Maverick County Daily Reports-October 02, 2020

Public Intoxication-Ignacio Torres was taken into custody on public intoxication charges early this morning after deputies responded to a suspicious male subject in the Rosita Valley Road area. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Public Intoxication-A county unit responded to Santa Fe Trail shortly after 5 AM this morning in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with a subject identified as Sergio Saldivar who was seen walking on the street. Deputies detected a strong alcoholic odor emitting from Mr. Saldivar, who also displayed bloodshot eyes and an unstable balance. He taken into custody and and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Wanted Person-Deputies this afternoon made contact with US Border Patrol agents who detained a fifty year old male subject for a possible open warrant. The warrant out of Dallas County on the subject identified as Cirilo Sains Ramos was confirmed and Mr. Ramos was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Aggravated Assault/Possession of a Controlled Substance-Units were dispatched to US Highway 277 East shortly after 10:30 P.M. this evening after receiving reports of a possible assault in progress taking place inside a vehicle.  The vehicle in question was located and contact was made with the occupants, twenty year old Mikayla Caballero and thirty-one year old Dustin Suke. Ms. Caballero told deputies her boyfriend was under the influence of narcotics and had pointed a gun at her and threatened to cause serious bodily injury. A search was later conducted and deputies were able to locate a pellet gun. A search of Ms. Caballero's purse found her in possession of approximately .102 grams of Xanax and .245 ounces of marijuana. She was taken into custody on possessions charges. Mr. Elizondo was placed under arrest on aggravated assault charges. The pair were then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing, where Ms. Caballero was also found in possession of a THC cartridge.
