Maverick County Daily Reports-May 19, 2020

Family Violence/Resisting Arrest/Wanted Person-A county unit responded to the 500 block of FM 2030 shortly past the midnight hour after a female subject reported she had been involved in an argument with her husband, who became verbally aggressive towards her and began throwing objects around the home. Contact was made with the husband, Joe DeJesus, who appeared to be intoxicated and was combative towards deputies. Several attempts to place hand restraints on Mr. DeJesus were met with resistance before deputies were able to detain him. A check then revealed several warrants out of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office. the subject was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
