Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to the 3100 block of US Highway 277 North this afternoon after a Chrysler van turning onto Highway 277 from Juanita Drive failed to yield to the right of way, striking a 2015 Honda CR-V. The collision would send the driver of the CRV and the front passenger of the Chrysler to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for further evaluation.
Wanted Person-Deputies this evening arrested twenty-two year old Alejandro Almendarez Hurtado at the international port of entry 2 after a check revealed an open warrant of Bexar County. The warrant was confirmed and he was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
